Preliminary rounds:

Group Player - 96 Groups of 5 - Races To 6

Top 2 From Each Group plus 64 best 3rd Place advance to main event single elimination bracket.

Bottom 2 plus 32 3rd place advance to 2nd chance single elimination bracket.

MAIN EVENT FINAL 256

Redraw into single elimination bracket - Races to 7 - Final Race to 8

SECOND CHANCE FINAL 224

Shot clock & match clock:

All matches will be played with an unofficial shot clock of 30 seconds.
All matches on the TV table will be played with a 30 second shot clock lowered to a 15 second shot clock and a 40 min match clock, all controlled by a referee if the score is tied at the end of the match a six ball shootout will determine the winner.

Rules + Dress Code:

All matches will be played to international 8 ball rules
No jump shots / cues permitted
All matches played on 7’ tables
Collared or polo shirt with dress slacks/trousers (any colour)
Must wear all black sneaker / dress shoe
No hats or headphones/earbuds allowed during play
Dress code strictly enforced.

For TV Matches Only - No logo to exceed 6x3 inches and must be placed on the front/chest area or the arms.  PLEASE NOTE:  UPUSA reserves the right to request a logo be covered or hidden. 

Additional information:

Must have valid ID.
Played on 7’ Tables w/ Aramith Ball set (American size set).
