Location: The Rack Billiard Club, Clive, Iowa
Dates: March 14–15, 2026
Prize Pool: $2,400 (based on full field of 32 players)

Entry Details

• Open to junior players aged 17 and under
• Entry Fee: $40 ($30 entry + $10 green fee)
• Player Cap: 32 Players Maximum
• Format: Round robin group stage followed by either Main Event or Second Chance single-elimination brackets
• Each player guaranteed 4 matches (if event is full)
• Rules: International 8-Ball Rules
• Tables: 7-foot tables
• No jump shots/cues permitted
• Scheduled match times throughout the event
• Payouts issued via bank transfer within 14 business days after event completion

Tournament Format

Preliminary Rounds

• 8 Groups of 4 Players – Race to 4
• Top 2 advance to Main Event (Single Elimination)
• Bottom 2 advance to Second Chance Event (Single Elimination)

Main Event

• Single Elimination – Race to 5
• Final – Race to 6

Second Chance Event

• Single Elimination – Race to 4

Shot Clock & Match Clock

• All matches: unofficial 30-second shot clock
• TV Table: official 30-second shot clock (reduced to 15 seconds) plus a 40-minute match clock
• Referee-controlled
• If tied at time expiry, a six-ball shootout determines the winner

Rules & Dress Code

• Played under International 8-Ball Rules
• No jump cues or shots
• 7' tables with Aramith balls (American size)
• Attire:
  • Collared or polo shirt
  • Dress slacks/trousers (any color)
  • All-black sneakers or dress shoes
  • No hats or headphones/earbuds during play
• Dress code strictly enforced

TV Matches: Logos may not exceed 6x3 inches and must be placed on the front/chest area or sleeves. UPUSA reserves the right to request a logo be covered or removed.

• Valid ID/age verification required (17 and under)
• Players will receive additional event details via email closer to the start date (check inbox and junk folder for confirmation after payment)

Refund Policy

• Entry fees are non-refundable after purchase
• If the event is full and an alternate is available to replace a withdrawing player, a refund may be issued
• UPUSA reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason
• UPUSA may use player images and video for social media, broadcast, and advertising purposes
